Don Omar developed his musical talents in his youth with religious music in his native Puerto Rico. He has became a force in the burgeoning movement of Reggaeton music, starting out as a producer with the duo Hector Y Tito. His single "Reggaeton Latino" is a new anthem for this musical movement.
Don Omar is the king of radio in the United States and Puerto Rico. His single “Hasta Que Salga El Sol” captures the #1 position when released on Billboard Hot Latin Songs Chart. The song has also become a major hit throughout Latin America and is undoubtedly being celebrated as the song of the summer for 2012 thru 2016 throughout the world. “Hasta Que Salga El Sol” is the second single from “MTO2: New Generation”, the new album from Don Omar to reach #1 on the important radio chart. “Dutty Love”, the album’s first single, reached the top position recently and the album dominated the sales charts locking down the #1 position on the Billboard Latin Albums Charts for 4 consecutive weeks upon its release. MTO2 also includes the hits “Ella No Sigue Modas”, a collaboration with the Spanish DJ Juan Magan that has become a major hit throughout Europe and “Zumba”, a song that will be featured on a DVD game and video in the upcoming months.
The music video or “Hasta Que Salga El Sol” will be filmed in the upcoming weeks and will see its premiere in August. It is expected that it will join the line of dominating video hits from Don Omar such as “Danza Kuduro” and “Taboo” which cumulatively have more than 460 million views on Youtube/VEVO. After this release. Don Omar will travel to Europe to retake his role as Rico Santos in the next installment of the blockbuster “The Fast and The Furious” movie series.

La canción también es un éxito total por todo atinoamérica e indudable se ha convertido en la canción del verano del 2012 por todo el mundo.
“Hasta Que Salga El Sol” es la segunda canción de “MTO2: New Generation”, la nueva producción de Don Omar, en llegar a la posición #1 en este importante listado. “Dutty Love”, el primer sencillo del álbum, ocupo el primer lugar de radio en el país recientemente, y el álbum dominó el listado de ventas por más de 4 semanas en la posición #1 del Billboard Latin Charts después de su lanzamiento.
